Soup and Milk Packs Delivered to Health Workers in 25 Metro Manila Hospitals (Part 1) 

As our health workers defend us in the frontlines, we continue to lend a hand to support them in this long-drawn-out battle. 

Pilipinas in Action recently teamed up with OneStop Distribution and Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics, owned by entrepreneurs Jesse Maxwell and Nico Bolzico to deliver assorted soup and milk items for delivery to health workers across Metro Manila:

• 24 pieces of Organic Creamy Brocolli soup;
• 132 pieces of Organic Creamy Tomato soup;
• 84 pieces of Organic Broth Vegetable;  
• 240 pieces of Non-Dairy Milk Unsweetened; and 
• 252 pieces of Original Soy Milk Plain.

The items were allocated among frontliners in 25 private and government hospitals in the metropolis. The following 13 hospitals made up the first batch of recipients on April 4:

Taguig City: 
Cruz Rabe General Hospital;
Medical Center Taguig; and 
St. Luke's Medical Center - BGC

Muntinlupa City: 
Research Institute for Tropical Medicine; 
Asian Hospital and Medical Center; and  
Ospital ng Muntinlupa 

Parañaque City: 
Ospital ng Parañaque 

Pasay City:
San Juan de Dios Educational Foundation and Hospital

City of Manila: 
Dr Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital; and
Philippine General Hospital (Department of Patient Services and Maternity Ward)
Quezon City:
Lung Center of the Philippines; 
East Avenue Medical Center (Orthopedic Department); and 
Philippine Heart Center (delivery also included a set of medical supplies purchased through Pilipinas in Action).

Similar food packs were also delivered to 12 other hospitals. Part 2 will report on the said deliveries. Stay posted!
