With the enhanced community quarantine extended until April 30, Pilipinas in Action is more determined to expand our efforts to support more healthcare personnel at the forefront of battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thanks again to our partners OneStop Distribution and Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics, our team was able to deliver another batch of assorted soup and milk packs to more frontliners in Metro Manila. This batch consisted of the following:
-288 packs of Non-Dairy Soy Milk Unsweetened
-636 packs of Organic Original Soy Milk; and
-40 packs of Broccoli and Vegetable Broth Soup.
These items were distributed to frontliners in various private and government hospitals on April 8:
-National Center for Mental Health
-Mandaluyong City Medical Center, and
-Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital
-UERM Memorial Medical Center,
-Quirino Memorial Medical Center, and
-Quezon City General Hospital
-Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center
City of Manila:
-Ospital ng Maynila,
-Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center,
-Ospital ng Tondo,
-Philippine Orthopedic Center, and
-Philippine General Hospital
In addition, our team sent over medical supplies to the local government of Cauayan City in Isabela province. On April 8, the following medical supplies were successfully delivered through Mayor Bernard Dy for distribution to their healthcare frontliners:
-30 boxes of Latex Non-Sterile Gloves,
-100 pieces of Surgical Face Masks,
-100 pieces of Face Shields,
-300 tablets of Vitamin C for the frontliners, and
-72 bottles of Vitamin C Syrup for children in communities
