Reaching Out, Building Hope

As the enhanced community quarantine over Luzon entered its second week, Pilipinas In Action intensified its efforts to help out more health workers at the forefront of the country's campaign to address COVID-19. Our team also distributed masks to community health workers and food packs to three barangays in Taguig City.

Pilipinas In Action has committed to support frontline workers and help provide food to low-income families from Day One. And with support coming from various sectors, we intend to carry out our task during these daunting times.

To summarize, our team was able to deliver the following assistance on March 23 and 25:

San Andres Health Center
-10 boxes medical gloves
-30 pieces N95 masks
-5 gallons alcohol

Dr. Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center
-50 boxes medical gloves
-50 pieces N95 masks
-15 gallons alcohol

Taguig City Health Workers
-500 boxes medical gloves

Distributed food packs (each pack good for 3 days) to three barangays in Taguig City:
