New Stocks of Medical Supplies Reach Frontliners in Luzon

As the number of COVID-19 cases mount across the country, hospitals face a decline in their stocks of medical supplies and protective equipment for their frontliners.

To help address this, Pilipinas in Action moved to augment stocks of essential medical supplies for two hospitals in Metro Manila and one in Southern Tagalog.

Through our concerted efforts, Pilipinas in Action successfully delivered the following materials on April 1 to the Philippine General Hospital and Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Manila:

100 pieces of N95 masks
100 pieces of surgical masks
30 boxes of latex non-sterile gloves
20 boxes of nitrile non-sterile gloves
15 gallons of alcohol
20 pieces of face shields.

The following materials were also delivered to De La Salle University Medical Center in Dasmariñas City, Cavite on the same date:

50 pieces of N95 masks
100 pieces of surgical masks
30 boxes of latex non-sterile gloves
20 boxes of nitrile non-sterile gloves
15 gallons of alcohol
20 pieces of face shields.

There is so much we can do to help our health workers serving in the frontlines. Our team appeals to the Bayanihan spirit in all of us for pledges of generosity.
