Helping Out PTK Beneficiaries and the Pony Boys in Baguio

For years, our PTK (Presyo, Trabaho, Kita) program has been helping various groups nationwide, including vendors, transport workers, fisherfolk, farmers, etc. by giving them assistance to help sustain their livelihood.

We currently have a number of  groups in Baguio City who are PTK beneficiaries, including  the public market vegetable vendors and the 'Pony Boys' of Wright Park. Personally, they represent a part of my childhood since I have many fond memories of summer vacations in Baguio. I used to visit the public market with my mom, and go horseback riding at Wright Park with my dad.

Fast-forward to March, 2020: My team decided to reach out again to both of these groups who were left without a source of income following the declaration of enhanced community quarantine over Luzon due to the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. We purchased assorted vegetables from the public market vendors, which we then turned over as assistance to the Pony Boys.

We will continue to make such efforts to help more Filipinos in need during these trying times. We are #PilipinasInAction! Send us a message to find out how you can help!
