Healthcare Heroes in Cavite and Bulacan Get a Boost on April 9, Araw ng Kagitingan

Thanks to social media and modern communications technology, our health frontliners are promptly able to relay their requests for assistance to our team.

For our part, we try to respond to such requests as fast and efficiently as we can.

When we received calls for support on behalf of a group of hospitals in Cavite, and another set of requests for different medical facilities in Bulacan, our team immediately got down to work to map out our response.

We prepared sets of protective equipment and medical supplies to help augment the dwindling stocks in these hospitals.

Likewise, with the help of our partner, OneStop Distribution & Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics, we topped off our deliveries with soy milk products to help boost the health and morale of our healthcare heroes there.

On April 9, which is observed nationwide as Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor), our team was able to dispatch medical supplies and food packs for frontliners in six different medical facilities in Cavite:

Dasmarinas City:
- Dasmarinas City Medical Center

Kawit, Cavite
- Binakayan Hospital and Medical Center
- San Pedro Calungsod Medical Center

Cavite City
- Cavite Medical Center
- Bautista Hospital

Rosario, Cavite
- Our Savior Hospital

On the same day, separate deliveries consisting of medical supplies and soy milk packs were made to various public and private hospitals in Bulacan:

Meycauayan City
- Meycauayan Doctors Hospital
- The Lord's Hospital
- Nazarenus College and Hospital Foundation Inc.

Bulakan, Bulacan
- Gregorio Del Pilar District Hospital

Malolos City
- Bulacan Medical Center

San Jose Del Monte City
- Skyline Hospital and Medical Center

The timing and symbolism couldn't have been more appropriate, as the provinces of Bulacan and Cavite both figure prominently in our nationhood and history.

Pilipinas in Action considers it an honor to serve our modern-day heroes valiantly leading our battle vs the COVID-19 pandemic. As the ECQ wears on, our team is more determined to respond to the urgent needs of more hospitals across the country.

We welcome gestures of generosity through our official website ( to make this happen.
